Description
Plot Summary
Berlin is guarded by two angels, one is Cassirer, who is indifferent to the suffering of the world, and the other is Danmir (played by Bruno Ganz), who often feels the pain of humanity. The two of them were dressed in wide angel robes, wandering around the city, listening to people's prayers and silently observing their inner world. The worries of Circus Marien (Solveig DomMartin) have drawn sympathy from Dammir, as the circus is facing bankruptcy due to poor management and Marien is filled with worries. The angel performer of this circus moved Danmir to the mortal heart, and he decided to turn into a mortal and pursue a happy relationship. This film won the Best Director award at the 40th Cannes International Film Festival in 1987.
