Description
Plot Summary
Retired bomb expert Payne (played by Dennis Hopper) has thoughts of retaliating against society due to dissatisfaction with the government's retirement policy. He first installed a bomb in the elevator, took hostages and demanded a ransom of $1 million, but the bomb was removed by special agent Jack (Keanu Reeves) and the hostages were rescued. Payne escaped during the chaos. Despite failing, Payne did not give up and continued his crazy plan. This time he blew up a bus and installed a bomb on another bus. As long as the speed of the bus exceeds 50 miles per hour, it cannot slow down any further, otherwise it will cause an explosion. When Jack caught the bus, it was already loaded with passengers and traveling on the highway at a speed of over 50 miles per hour. Jack, commonly known as the "coward", took the risk of getting on the bus and the life and death race between him and Payne began.
