Plot Summary

The film is set against the backdrop of a real incident of police violence that occurred in the 18th arrondissement of Paris in 1993: a police officer shot and killed a 17-year-old Zairian boy named Makom é M'Bowol é during a patrol. In the film, a group of anti-government youths are seen on the streets of Paris. The dispute started when one of the people was severely beaten and injured by the police, and everyone held a grudge. Vincent Cassel (played by Vincent Cassel) obtains a real gun and is determined to use color. Their hatred and anger are everywhere, and this large-scale conflict with the police is about to erupt.
