Description
Plot Summary
Martin (played by Charles Berling), a middle-aged philosophy teacher, experiences a sudden change in marriage and has been separated from his wife Sophie for a long time. He felt a deep emptiness in his heart, as if he was out of place with everything around him. One night, Martin lingered in a nightclub and helped a destitute painter named Metz (played by Robert Kramer) who was harassed by bodyguards for forgetting to bring his drink money. Metz left his contract to Martin and promised to repay the wine money in a few days. Three days later, Martin visited and found that the painter had died during sex with a girl the previous afternoon. Martin, who is always full of doubts about everything, walked into the life of the pure and mysterious girl Cecilia (played by Sophie Guillemin) out of curiosity.
