Description
Plot Summary
After her mother passed away, Bai Lan (played by Cecilia Cheung) crossed the sea and went to Incheon, South Korea to seek refuge with her uncle whom she had never met before. However, it was only then that she found out that her uncle had immigrated to Canada. She ran out of money and had no choice but to fake a marriage with someone to obtain residency. Bai Lan has never met her "husband" Li Jiangqi (played by Cui Minzhi), and only has a photo of him and his name by her side. Bai Lan works hard, her body is overworked, and in addition to living alone, she has to endure the scrutiny of those around her. The only comfort she received was the photo of her "husband" in the room. She was grateful to this unfamiliar man whom she had never met before, but in fact, he was an idle middle-aged thug who agreed to a fake marriage due to lack of money. Fate caused them to repeatedly miss the opportunity to meet each other, until something happened
