Description
Plot Summary
In October 1942, Xie La (played by Paolo Briguglia), who was studying philosophy and literature in university, arrived at the Italian army in North Africa in Egypt as a volunteer to prove his courage. The commander of this stationed force, Lieutenant Fiore, became depressed and irritable in the face of the reality of not having a replacement force for a long time. Xie La was assigned to Sergeant Rizzo's team (played by Pierfrancesco Favino). Xie La's task, like his comrades, was to defend the Italian army's defense line in the vast desert every day under the arbitrary bombardment of the British army. This is a war, but also a survival competition. The Italian army lacks material supply, and what is even more terrifying than artillery fire is disease and thirst. The Italian army lives in fear of British attacks every day. During the surveillance process, Shera and Rizzo discovered the Italian army that had been killed by the British army, making the British attack even more urgent
