Plot Summary

The second part, while continuing the style of the first part, presents a multi story development pattern, and the plot has a higher level of ornamental value. At the end of the first part, after Boromir was killed by the orcs, two hobbits, Pippin and Merry, were also kidnapped by the orcs. Aragon, the elf Legolas (played by Orlando Bloom), and the dwarf Kinley tracked down the orcs, rescued Pippin and Merry, and encountered the resurrected white robed wizard Gandalf (played by Ian McKellen). At this moment, the white robed wizard Saruman, who surrendered to Sauron, took control of the king of the human kingdom of Lohan and dispatched a large army of strong orcs to prepare for the destruction of humanity. Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli, led by Gandalf, helped the Kingdom of Lohan resist the invasion of evil forces. Fortunately, Pippin and Merry were rescued by a talking tree spirit and met the resurrected Gandalf. Under Gollum's leadership, they arrive at the entrance of Mount Doom, the Black Gate. Just as they were about to enter, Boromir's brother Famor appeared and took them back to Gondor. Frodo has encountered a new crisis: Famor wants to use the power of the One Ring to counter Saruman's attack
