Plot Summary

After quelling the Rebellion of the Seven Kingdoms, Emperor Jing of Han (played by Jiao Huang) began to address the issue of the kingdom, reducing fiefdoms to strengthen centralization. Emperor Jing of Han, who was skilled in governing the country, adopted Huang Lao's policy of governing by inaction. However, the newly stable Western Han Dynasty had to endure humiliation and bear heavy burdens in the face of the powerful invasion of the Xiongnu, and maintained border security through marriage alliances.
