Description
Plot Summary
In the 16th century, Naresuan, the son of King Maha Thammaracha of Ayudhaya Kingdom, was captured as a hostage in Hongsawadee (now Myanmar) and grew up there. Naresuan, who returned to his homeland in 1571, laid the new foundation for the Ayudhaya Kingdom with his outstanding leadership skills. But the new king of Hongsawadee, Nandabayin, was watching Naresuan with a covetous gaze and wanted to get rid of him. In 1590, after the death of Naresuan's father, he successfully ascended to the throne and declared the independence of the Ayudhaya Kingdom, declaring war on Hongsawadee. King Naresuan is the most respected and great king among Thai people, and his deeds are widely legendary. The film "King Narathien" depicts the life story of Thailand's most legendary king, and director Chatrichalerm Yukol tells the story of King Narathien's legendary life with his excellent directing skills.
