Description

Plot Summary

After World War II, the US government searched for individuals with special abilities and established a special "department" to conduct human experiments on them, attempting to implant their abilities into soldiers as weapons of war. During a drug trial, the telepathic "pusher" Jila (played by Camilla Belle) fled to Hong Kong with drugs, and the "department" dispatched agent Henry Carver (played by Djimon Hounsou) to pursue her. In a certain district of Hong Kong, Nick (played by Chris Evans), who has been evading the idea of the "department", helps the foreseeable future "perspective man" girl Casey (played by Dakota Fanning) escape from the pursuit of the Soundburst brothers and their "perspective man" sister "lollipop girl" (played by Li Xiaolu). With the help of local paranormal individuals, Nick and Casey found Jila, only to discover that under the influence of drugs, Jila's life was on the brink of death... [Plot 2] In 1945, Nazi scientists continuously conducted experiments on psychic transfer, eager to inject extraordinary abilities into the bodies of ordinary soldiers. Although the war has ended, this experiment is still ongoing. After the war, governments of various countries established secret bases called "quarantine zones" and searched everywhere for children with outstanding talents to conduct experiments. The results and deaths followed closely. The father of the psychic Nick (Chris Evans) (Joel Gretsch) was once a government trained superhuman killer. As he grew older, his father yearned to return to a normal life, but was ultimately killed. Ten years later, Nick, who was living in seclusion in Hong Kong, met a 13-year-old girl named Kathy (played by Dakota Fanning). Kexi is an observer with the ability to accurately predict the future. Her escape from the quarantine zone caused a huge uproar, and her encounter with Nick made things even more complicated and dangerous
