Description
Plot Summary
Twin siblings Jenny (played by M é lissa D é sormeaux Poulin) and Simon (played by Maxim Gaudette) receive a will from their deceased mother Navarre (played by Lubna Azabal), but after reading the contents, the two siblings find it difficult to accept: one is written to their father, who has never been masked; One is written for her third child - they don't even know about this brother's existence. The film cleverly travels between two different time and space: the mother spends her entire life searching for her eldest son; The siblings followed their mother's will and went to the Middle East to search for their father and brother. The more they delve into it, the more confused and shocking the clues and truths they face. This film is adapted from the play of the same name by the famous Canadian French writer Vakidi Muavad. Director Dennis Villeneuve was nominated for Best Foreign Language Film at the 83rd Academy Awards.
