Plot Summary

Ip Man (played by Donnie Yen) came to Hong Kong with his family and struggled to make ends meet. Ye Wen opened a martial arts school to promote Wing Chun martial arts, but no one paid attention. One day, Huang Liang (played by Huang Xiaoming) visited and after a martial arts competition, he willingly brought a group of brothers to worship under the tutelage of Ye Wen. Huang Liang got into a fight with Hong Quan's followers for some reason and was caught as a result. Ip Man came to save, but coincidentally encountered his former rival Jin Shan Qiu (played by Fan Shaohuang). The two reconciled their past grievances, but did not want to be stopped by Hong Zhennan (played by Sammo Hung), the leader of Hong Quan.
