Description
Plot Summary
After the financial crisis hit GTX, a publicly traded company worth hundreds of millions of dollars, its executives decided to lay off employees. Walker (played by Ben Affleck), an old employee with a six figure salary, was the first to suffer. He lost his expensive house and Porsche one by one and had to move to his parents' house. In order to support his wife and two children, Walker had to accept a relative's laborer job. The company was able to safely overcome the crisis, but the CEO's old friend and company partner, McCrary (played by Tommy Lee Jones), discovered that the CEO was laying off employees while claiming financial problems and spending money to build a new company headquarters. After raising objections, the CEO even fired him and hired his mistress instead. Having seen through his companions' greed and guilt towards the laid-off employees, McLaren finally made a courageous decision
