Description
Plot Summary
In the socialist country of Cuba, Juan (Alexis D í az de Villegas), a middle-aged man living at the bottom of society, has achieved nothing. He divorced his wife and his daughter Camilla (Andrea Duro) completely disregards him. Juan spends his days hanging out with two bad friends, Lazaro (played by Jorge Molina) and California (played by Andros Perugorr í a), with no hope for the future. One day, the calm city suddenly became filled with panic, as an inexplicable zombie virus spread wildly. All infected humans transformed into bloodthirsty zombies. When people were feeling anxious and eager to escape the city, Juan came up with a way to make money. He gathered his friends and other citizens to form a small company dedicated to helping normal people who cannot bear to turn their loved ones into zombies. His career is thriving, and his relationship with his daughter is gradually healing... This film won the Silver Crow Award at the 2012 Brussels International Fantasy Film Festival, the Best Actor Award (Alexis D í az de Villegas) at the 2012 Portugal Fantasy Film Festival, and the Audience Award at the 2012 Miami Film Festival.
