Plot Summary

After the shocking 9/11 attacks in 2001, the United States launched a pursuit and killing operation targeting Osama bin Laden, the top figure of Al Qaeda. Maya (played by Jessica Chastain) is a capable and resilient female CIA agent who is sent to work at the US Embassy in Pakistan with the sole mission of finding Osama bin Laden. Although she felt sorry for the use of torture to interrogate terrorists within the bureau at that time, she firmly believed that obtaining important information was above all else. She devoted 10 years of her life to one thing: finding a straw from the vast sea of anti-terrorism intelligence and using it to crush a camel named Osama bin Laden. In the end, her efforts paid off - on May 1, 2011, the US Navy SEALs infiltrated Pakistan based on her intelligence and carried out a decapitation operation, successfully killing Osama bin Laden. But after all of this was over, Maya didn't know where to go...
