Description
Plot Summary
Julian (played by Ryan Gosling) fled from the United States to Thailand ten years ago for a murder, and opened a boxing club in Bangkok with his brother Billy (played by Tom Burke) as a cover for underground drug trafficking. Billy was caught by Thai police for raping and murdering a 16-year-old Thai girl. The girl's father killed Billy at the instigation of police chief Chang (Vithaya Pansringarm). Julian and Billy's biological mother Kristo (played by Kristin Scott Thomas) travels to Bangkok to collect the body of their eldest son. Kristo, who was eager for revenge, couldn't help but feel angry when she saw her weak and incompetent second son Julian. She hired an assassin to eliminate a series of people related to Billy's death. Julian had intended to let Chang go and settle this matter, but under his mother's relentless stimulation and coercion, he had to participate in this bloody slaughter. This film is the second collaboration between directors Nicholas Winding Refon and Ryan Gosling after "Drive Away".
