Plot Summary

The Japanese version of "Get Out, Tumor Lord" is based on the final diary manuscript of manga god Osamu Tezuka. The live action film "The Madonna in the Bathroom" was inspired by a passage written by Osamu Tezuka in his diary before he passed away. Osamu Tezuka wrote in his diary: "Today I have a great idea! Let's call it 'The Madonna in the Bathroom'. A patient who has been diagnosed with cancer doesn't want to die like this without achieving anything, so he starts painting on the ceiling of the hospital bathroom... (omitted) Purification and Ascension. This is the challenge that this dying person poses to the world!" The supervision and script for this work are handled by Daisuke Matsunaga, who will showcase the essence of Tezuka Osamu's manga, 'Respect for Life', in this work.
