Description
Plot Summary
In 1937, the War of Resistance Against Japan broke out, and following the defeat in the Battle of Shanghai, Nanjing was in a tight situation. At the critical moment of the survival of the Chinese nation, the Nationalist government announced the relocation of the capital to Chongqing. From February 18, 1938 to December 19, 1944, the Japanese army carried out indiscriminate bombing of Chongqing and surrounding areas for six years and ten months. Despite the brutal bombing by the Japanese army, the citizens of Chongqing remained resilient and optimistic, demonstrating the national integrity of Chongqing's indomitable spirit of China. In order to defend their homeland, young Chinese pilots, with the help of American flight instructors, engaged in a series of tragic aerial battles with the Japanese Air Force. Although their flying equipment was far behind that of the Japanese army, they would rather die in the sky than survive on the ground, engaging in a life and death struggle with the enemy in the long sky .....
