Plot Summary

Monty (played by Edward Norton) takes his dog for a walk in New York. During the day, he visits his old friend Jacob (played by Philip Seymour Hoffman) at his former school, where Jacob works as an English teacher. His female student Mary (played by Anna Paquin) is very active in class. Meanwhile, Monty and Jacob's other friend Frank (played by Barry Pepper) are busy working at the company. The cause of the incident was that one afternoon, Monty returned home and found his girlfriend Naturale (played by Rosario Dawson) waiting at the doorstep for a long time. While the two were flirting in the bathtub, the police suddenly came knocking on their door. Monty's drugs hidden in the sofa were discovered. Therefore, he was prosecuted and sentenced to 7 years in prison. Monty only has a few hours left before he goes to jail, and he begins to suspect that his girlfriend may have betrayed him. Monty went to find his father and they talked a lot. Later, they went to a bar and unexpectedly met Jacob's female student Mary. 24 hours have passed, and the next hour Monty will begin his prison life .....
