Plot Summary

The whole film is very exciting and lively, with a tight plot and clever trap design. It is an excellent comedy of scammers. Two habitual swindlers who deceive women meet a female hero, and the result is unexpected. The script is excellent and can be called a masterpiece! Freddie (played by Steve Martin) and Lawrence (played by Michael Caine) are two playboys who have been wandering in the "rivers and lakes" for many years. Their goal is to deceive lonely and wealthy single women and profit from their relationships. In a sense, Freddie and Lawrence can also be considered old colleagues, so their open and covert struggles have never ceased. A girl named Janet (played by Glenne Headly) appeared in front of two love scammers, and her beauty and sexiness quickly caught their attention. With Janet as the target, Freddie and Lawrence made a bet that whoever won Janet's heart first would be the undisputed female assassin, and they immediately launched an operation.
