Description
Plot Summary
Phil (played by Bill Murray) is a weather reporter who, in addition to providing humorous weather forecasts to the audience in front of the camera every day, travels to a border town called Pusutani every February 2nd to report on the local Groundhog Day celebration. In fact, Phil was quite disdainful of this holiday and began to feel tired of his work. After completing his routine reporting for this year, he couldn't wait to return home, but was delayed by a sudden snowstorm. After waking up on the second day, Phil unexpectedly found that time was still stuck on the previous groundhog day, and everything from yesterday was replayed. Surprise, disbelief, excitement, ecstasy, boredom, anxiety, unease, despair, fatigue and other emotions took turns invading Phil's sensory field, but no matter how he chose to spend the day, he could never move forward and began his repetitive life.
