Description
Plot Summary
High school student Greg (played by Thomas Mann) has a kind but somewhat reclusive personality. His only hobby is filming short films with his best friend Earl (played by RJ Cyler), adapting his favorite classic movies, and entertaining himself. One day, Greg meets a girl named Rachel (played by Olivia Cooke) who suffers from leukemia. The optimistic and cheerful Rachel changes Greg's original world, and the two get along very well. Greg gradually develops feelings for Rachel, but feels embarrassed to say it out loud. At this moment, Rachel's condition worsened and Greg realized he had to take action... The film is adapted from Jesse Andrews' novel of the same name, "Me and Earl and the Dying Girl," and the script was once hailed as a 2012 script blacklist.
