Description

Plot Summary

Harry (played by Richard Widmark) is a humble pimp, however, he is never satisfied with the status quo and constantly seeks ways to become wealthy. By chance, Harry met a wrestler named George (played by Stanislaus Zbyszko) and they hit it off. They decided to organize a wrestling competition to make a huge profit. Harry brought in popular wrestler Shi Ruile (played by Mike Mazurki) to face off against George's henchman Nicholas (played by Ken Richmond), and for a moment, this peak showdown became a legend that everyone in the area enjoyed. Harry's high-profile behavior has angered the gang that monopolizes the profits of local wrestling competitions. In addition, George's son has also expressed strong dissatisfaction with Harry. At the same time, bar owner Philip (played by Francis L. Sullivan) also wants to take this opportunity to get rid of this scoundrel who has an affair with his wife Helen (played by Maggie Withers). An unexpected event led to George's unfortunate death and also caused Harry to be killed.
