Description
Plot Summary
Edward (played by Johnny Depp) is a robot with a human mind but a pair of scissor hands, living alone in a castle. The cosmetics salesman Peg who breaks into the castle takes him home and immerses him in the world of humans. Innocent Edward fell in love with Peg's daughter, Kim (played by Winona Ryder), and Kim gradually became attracted to Edward's kindness. However, a series of unexpected events changed the attitude of the neighbors towards Edward from liking him to not accepting him. Edward painfully discovered that he always did bad things with good intentions, and could not even embrace his lover. Perhaps, he was destined not to belong to this world
