Plot Summary

This film is adapted from a true story and tells the bloody feud between the New York Mafia and the underworld, restoring the so-called "underworld morality" to the ugliness and greed of human nature. Henry Hill (played by Ray Liotta) has been uneducated since childhood, following his boss Poly and relying on collecting protection fees, smuggling, and robbery. He marries his beautiful wife Karen, has a lovely daughter, a charming mistress, a luxury car, and a comfortable life. Jimmy Conway (played by Robert De Niro) and Tommy (played by Josie) are good friends of Henry, and the three of them experience many things together: killing and humiliating the Italian mafia leader Billy Bates who humiliated Tommy; Planned the German Airlines robbery, killed accomplices, and embezzled stolen funds; Even drug trafficking behind the back of Boss Poly. Of course, their lives, apart from enjoying the power brought by money, were more about constant turmoil: Tommy was shot dead because of Billy Bates' death; Henry himself was arrested by the police for drug trafficking, and others were also implicated.
