Plot Summary

In the early stages of reform and opening up, Li Xiaojun (played by Leon Lai) bid farewell to his girlfriend Xiaoting (played by Yang Gongru) and came to Hong Kong from Tianjin (in the Mandarin version, it is Wuxi) to make a living, hoping to earn a lot of money one day to bring Xiaoting over and marry her with Fengfeng. Unexpectedly, life would be much more difficult than imagined.
