Description
Plot Summary
In the 1950s and 1960s, the panicked girl Kristin (played by Amber Heard) ran through the wilderness and set fire to a nearby farmhouse. However, she was eventually caught by the police and sent to the North Bay Mental Hospital. Due to Kristin's extreme aggression, she was placed in a special ward where her freedom was restricted. In addition to cold doctors and nurses, she could see other girls next door, such as Emily (Mamie Gummer), Rouey (Laura Leigh), and Iris (Lyndsy Fonseca). From the girls' mouths, Kristin learns that the mysterious Dr. Skinner (played by Jared Harris) seems to have been conducting some experiment on the girls, while at the same time, there seems to be a terrifying evil spirit lurking in the mental hospital, constantly preparing to take the girls' lives
