Plot Summary

During the Southern Song Dynasty, the world was in turmoil, with various demons and evil spirits causing harm to the world. There were also seeds of infatuation that merged with fate, creating timeless legends. In a deep mountain forest, one green, one white, and two snakes have been cultivated for thousands of years, transforming into human bodies. They spend their days leisurely playing in the mountains, feeling uneasy. Two snakes coincidentally meet Xu Xian (played by Lin Feng), a doctor who goes up the mountain to collect herbs. White Snake (played by Huang Shengyi) admires Xu Xian and accidentally saves his life. From then on, her heart is touched and she decides to go down the mountain to find the person in her heart. During the festive season, the two snakes transformed into human forms and arrived in the city under the names of Bai Suzhen and Qing Qing (played by Cai Zhuoyan). As the saying goes, by chance, Bai Suzhen finally met Xu Xian and became husband and wife. At times, the eminent monk Fahai (played by Jet Li) from Jinshan Temple traveled around with his disciple Nengren (played by Wen Wen) to subdue demons and eliminate evil spirits.
