Description
Plot Summary
Tian Tongchun, an introverted and honest high school student (voiced by Kenzo Ono), grew up in the beautiful and comfortable city of Kyoto. One day, he was suddenly attacked by a demon and rushed into an ancient temple in a panic, where he was rescued by the monk Yuan Yun (voiced by Shio Nakamura). Unexpectedly, he was taken by Yuan Yun to the distant Heian period. During the Heian period, evil spirits were rampant and engaged in a series of wars with humans. In order to eliminate hungry ghosts, Yuan Yun traveled through time and brought a celestial child known as the savior. In the latest battle, Tian Tong accidentally awakened the Yagi Orochi, which claimed to be able to destroy evil spirits, to rescue his companions. By chance, he and Orochi rescued the evil ghost Mizuha, who was being chased by nobles, and thus discovered the true face of the evil ghost. His belief as a savior was also shaken... This film is adapted from Takada Takashi's original work of the same name.
