Plot Summary

One night, next to the Kirin statue at Nihonbashi, known as the starting point of Tokyo, a man stumbled and fell, eventually losing too much blood and dying. The deceased's name is Takeaki Aobayashi (played by Guiichi Nakai), who was the head of the Jinzaki Metal Manufacturing Company. What puzzled the police was that despite being stabbed in the abdomen, Qingliu did not immediately call for an ambulance, but endured the 8-minute journey. On the same night, unemployed young man Yashima Toshiki (played by Miura Takada) was seriously injured by a truck and fell into a coma. Because he was holding Qingliu's briefcase, the police considered Hachima as an important suspect. The various doubts surrounding this case have left Detective Keiichiro Kaga (played by Hiroshi Abe) of Nihonbashi Police Station lost in thought.
