Plot Summary

The Hundred Years' War, the world is upside down, people's hearts are corrupted, and greed is rampant. The mergers and conquests between countries have caused rivers of blood to flow. The man named Gus (voiced by Yohjiro Iwanaga) made a name for himself among mercenaries and attracted the attention of another powerful man. Soon, he encountered the terrifying mercenary unit "Eagle Group" and its charismatic and powerful leader ruler Griffith (voiced by Takahiro Sakurai). Gus was defeated in the battle against Griffith and subsequently joined the Eagle Corps, becoming one of the most brave generals among them. In the intense battles, he established an unbreakable friendship with his comrades and gained the appreciation of Griffith, who even risked his own safety to save Gus who was tortured by the demon Zod. But as the Eagle Squad became the regular army of the Mithran Kingdom and Griffith was ennobled, the simple camaraderie began to be shrouded in the shadow of conspiracy... This film is adapted from the original work of the same name by manga artist Kentaro Miura and is the first installment of the "Golden Age" trilogy, with the other two being "Doraemon Raiders" and "Advent".
