Description
Plot Summary
One summer, 14-year-old Duncan (played by Liam James) went on vacation with his mother Pam, mother's boyfriend Trent, and Trent's daughter at Trent's seaside cottage. Like most children from divorced families, Duncan doesn't like his mother's boyfriend. Duncan found himself at odds with Trent's friends, and his already reserved demeanor became even more melancholic. Until he met Owen (played by Sam Rockwell) during a cycling trip. Owen is a staff member of the local water park, and through Owen's introduction, Duncan became a part-time employee of the water park. There, he made new friends, spent happy times, and also got closer and closer to Susanna (played by Anna Sophia Robb), a girl who also suffered from family problems in his neighbor's house. One night, Duncan discovered Trent's secret, and his conflict with his family grew deeper and deeper ....
