Description
Plot Summary
Hugh Glass (Leonardo DiCaprio) is a fur hunter who was severely injured by a bear during a hunting trip and was rescued by his fellow boat captain Andrew Henry (Domhnall Gleeson). The captain hired two people, John Fitzgerald (Tom Hardy) and Jim Bridger (Will Poulter), to take care of him. John Fitzgerald had no intention of taking care of Glass and only wanted to take Glass's property for himself. He cruelly killed Glass's son and convinced Jim Bridger to abandon Glass in the wilderness to die. The two of them originally thought that Grass would pass away like this, but Grass, with his strong perseverance, traveled through the wild wilderness for several months and finally returned to a safe zone to begin his revenge plan. The film is adapted from Michael Punk's novel of the same name.
