Plot Summary
The Emperor Penguin Diary is about to release a sequel! The sequel to "The Emperor Penguin Diaries: Summoning", which won the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature in 2006, is titled "The Emperor Penguin Diaries 2: Summoning" and has released its first stills. Wild Bunch has acquired distribution rights in countries other than France and North America. The director of the previous film, Luc Jacques, has returned to direct. The film was shot in 4K format in Antarctica using submarines and drones for two months last winter, and will be released in early 2017. When "The Penguin Diaries" was released in 2005, it grossed $127 million worldwide, and the previous narrator Morgan Freeman was unsure if he would return.
