Plot Summary

The story of Cinderella in modern times has introduced many people to Anne Hathaway. 15-year-old high school student Mia (played by Anne Hathaway) lives with her mother in the United States, but she is very insecure and often ridiculed by her classmates. On her 16th birthday, she met her grandmother (played by Julie Andrews) and discovered that this elegant lady was the queen of the small European country of Genovia, and Mia was the princess of that country. At first, Mia was very unwilling, but with her mother's mediation, Mia's attitude finally eased. In order to smoothly inherit the throne, the queen had to make a series of changes to her granddaughter, causing great distress to Mia, who usually lives a carefree life, and even conflicts with her good friends. Mia's identity was exposed by her good friend, and she immediately received high attention from the media. The sudden event made Mia want to escape everything, but fortunately in her father's diary, she regained her confidence. Mia became a princess and found the love she wanted.
