Description
Plot Summary
Xia An (played by Sean Penn) is a retired rock musician whose affluent and leisurely life has gradually lost his former spirit and sharpness. Her father's critical illness brought Xia An to New York. Although she didn't see her father for the last time, Xia An finally found her future goal. Originally, Xia An's father had suffered abuse in Auschwitz concentration camp, a period of history that has been tormenting the surviving elderly. And the culprit of that time, Alois (played by Heinz Lieven), is now living a carefree life somewhere in the United States. We must find this demon with a human face and a beastly heart. This is the only belief in Xia An's heart. With this belief, Xia An embarked on a journey of revenge. Along the way, Xia An encountered many people and events, which gradually changed her desire for revenge. Gradually, Xia An began to feel confused about the purpose of this trip.
