Description
Plot Summary
One day, Thomas (played by Bernard Letrou), Mark, and Brigitte (played by Solange Pradel), three young people, come to a rural area in France to search for a long-standing legend. It is said that during the Louis XV period in France, there were four vampire sisters. The four sisters are very beautiful, but cruel and cold-blooded. Men fought with vampire sisters and were killed in the end. However, one of the female vampires was once raped by villagers. Thomas and the others do not believe this rumor. In their view, those four girls may be humans suffering from some kind of illness... This film is the first feature film by French zombie director Jean Rollin and is also known as France's first zombie movie. The film was originally a 40 minute short film, but for the convenience of theatrical release, Lorraine re shot the later parts according to the distribution requirements.
