Description

Plot Summary

Takeda Shingen (played by Tatsuya Nakadai), the leader of the Three Heroes of Japan during the Warring States period, was known as the "Tiger of Kai". His creed is' as fast as the wind, as swift as the forest, as aggressive as fire, as motionless as a mountain '. When Takeda Shingen surrounded the Noda Castle of the Tokugawa army and was about to conquer Kyoto, he was hit by enemy sniper rifles and critically injured, on the brink of death. Before his death, he left a will to his subordinates to conceal the news of his death for three years. Previously, his younger brother Takeda Shinryu (played by Yamazaki Nu) found a substitute (played by Nakadai Tatsuya) who was originally a thief. His appearance was similar to that of Shingen, known as the "Shadow Warrior" by the Japanese, and he took on a heavy responsibility. In this way, with the support and assistance of Takeda Nobunaga, the Shadow Samurai went from being a thief to being moved by the righteous actions of the Takeda family, and fulfilled his duties wholeheartedly. He convinced the Takeda family and enemies that he was indeed Shingen himself. However, as three years approached, an unexpected event occurred. The Shadow Warrior was exposed, he was driven away, and the morale of the Takeda family was also depleted
