Description
Plot Summary
Manon (played by Emmanuel B é art) is a shepherdess wandering in the mountains, hiding a tragic past beneath her gentle and beautiful appearance. Manon's father died in a conspiracy, and the culprits were the uncle and nephew of Pabitt (played by Yves Montand) and Grint (played by Daniel Auteuil). By chance, Grint saw Manon bathing, and he was deeply fascinated by her beauty without knowing the truth. However, by this time, Manon had already fallen in love with her teacher BlackRock (played by Hippolyte Girardot). Manon gradually learned the truth about her father's death, and with anger, she buried her hatred deep in her heart, hoping for the day when she would be avenged. Under Manon's design, she uncovered the hypocritical masks of Pabitt and Grint in front of all the villagers, and Grint died of shame. However, the tragedy did not end there.
