Plot Summary

Gao Jin (played by Chow Yun fat) came to Hong Kong to fight against gambling demons. Unexpectedly, as soon as he arrived, he was chased by Nan Ge (played by Yang Zelin) and fell into a trap, losing his memory. Fortunately, Dao Zai (played by Andy Lau) and his girlfriend Zhen (played by Wang Zuxian) saved him. They brought Gao Jin home for recuperation and discovered that Gao Jin was proficient in gambling. Excited, they wanted to use him to make a lot of money, but ended up losing money due to Gao Jin's unstable performance. Gao Jin's wife was insulted and killed by her cousin Gao Yi after being drunk. Gao Yi then teamed up with Nan Ge to design a plan to assassinate Gao Jin, searched everywhere for his hiding place, and went to chase after him. During the escape, Gao Jin overturned and was injured, but he managed to regain his memory - but he couldn't remember anything from the period of amnesia. Daozi reminded Jin that Gao Yi was not a good person, but Jin resolutely kept it in the dark and did not know that danger was looming.
