Plot Summary

Detective Zhang Biao (played by Dong Biao) was killed by drug lord Deng Liyang (played by Fang Gang) while investigating a drug manufacturing case. Deng disguised the scene as Zhang Biao committing suicide due to gambling debts. After his death, Zhang Biao was unwilling to suffer damage to his reputation and bribed the underworld judge to restore Yang, thus beginning to search for a savior and clear his hatred. On this side, police newcomer Ah Xing (played by Stephen Chow) and Zhang Biao's old partner Li Jin (played by Feng Cuifan) form a new team. Zhang Biao, because Ah Xing is his destined savior, attaches himself to a gun and uses magic to help Ah Xing approach Li Jin's daughter Ah Yu (played by Chen Derong), in order to help him seek revenge. Deng Liyang had a premonition that Zhang Biao would return to Yang, so he asked Zhang Biao to command the assistance of the Demon Slayer Mage. Li Jin, who was practicing Maoshan Taoism, was disciplined by Zhang Biao and Axing. He was dissatisfied and waited for an opportunity to retaliate, but was taken advantage of by an evil mage who sealed the ghost of Zhang Biao. With the guidance of Patriarch Maoshan, Axing and Li Jin prepared the elixir to break the law, and even invited Patriarch to possess themselves and fight against Deng Liyang and the evil mage.
