Description
Plot Summary
Adapted from Tom Clancy's bestselling novel, it is a sequel to Patriot Games. Harrison Ford continues to play CIA agent Jack Ryan, who is embroiled in the drug war in Colombia. Ryan is tasked with investigating the truth after a friend of the US President is murdered by drug traffickers. On the other hand, the president sent a secret strike team to deal with drug trafficking groups, which plunged Ren into multiple crises in an unclear situation where he was neither friend nor foe. Director Philip Noyce's narrative technique is concise, clearly illustrating the complex international situation and the bizarre and ever-changing political power struggles of the post Cold War era. At the same time, it also takes into account the entertainment value of the tense and exciting action scenes, making it a successful political thriller film.
