Plot Summary

The film is directed by the well-known Coen brothers, and the soundtrack album won the Best Album of the Year award at the 44th Grammy Awards. In the early 1930s, in the wilderness prison of Mississippi, the talkative and slick Everett (played by George Clooney) was constantly plotting various escape plans. After successfully persuading his fellow prisoners - the simple minded Delma (played by Tim Blake Nelson) and the daring Pete (played by John Turturro) - Everett's escape plan was finally realized. Three criminals in prison uniforms, handcuffed and shackled, set out on the road to freedom with a clang. According to Everett, there is also a large amount of stolen money and goods buried by the Mississippi River. During their escape, they not only had to deal with various tricky emergencies, but also had to battle with the law enforcement officer Kuli who was chasing them. This persistent guy swore to send these three 'fish out of the net' back to prison. Along the way, there were numerous accidents and situations. Can they truly attain freedom?
