Plot Summary

During an investigation into a horrific murder, Detective Kelly realized that the notorious assassin, the "vertical saw," had once again started his terrifying murder game. But this time he went even further, locking eight strangers who didn't know each other in a room and forcing them to kill each other. After a quarrel between detective Eric Matthew and his young rebellious son Daniel, the police called him to investigate the murder scene designed by the Jigsaw Killer because his name was written on the wall. The victim was trapped in the head by a deadly iron mask with the logo of Wilson Steel Company on it, and died. Matthew summoned SWAT to the abandoned factory of the company, which was another hiding place for the Jigsaw Killer. There is a control room with multiple computers inside, and the screen shows many victims trapped in a room filled with toxic gas, and one of the victims is his son Daniel. There is a timer next to the computer, indicating how much time the victim still has to survive. The Jigsaw Killer is sitting quietly at his desk in that factory, looking very weak due to cancer. He told Matthew that if he could sit down and have a long conversation with him, his son would be safe and sound.
