Description

Plot Summary

Shikoku Island in Japan faces the mainland China region across the Seto Inland Sea to the north, is adjacent to the eastern coast of Kyushu Island via the Toyoko Channel to the west, is separated by Osaka Bay and the Kansai region to the east, and is bordered by the turbulent Pacific Ocean to the south. It is the smallest of the four major islands in Japan, with four prefectures: Kagawa, Tokushima, Kochi, and Aizen. Here, you can find Japan's oldest Buddhist pilgrimage route, pristine natural landscapes that have not been artificially destroyed, and rural landscapes that are completely different from modern urban scenery. Surrounded by the Seto Inland Sea, known as the "Mediterranean" of Japan, each prefecture has its own characteristics and is not as ordinary as people think. At present, there are four bridges connecting Shikoku Island with Honshu, where Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, and Kobe are located: Seto Ohashi Bridge, Omimon Bridge, Akashi Kaikyo Bridge, and Shimanami Kaido. Among them, Seto Ohashi is the longest and most magnificent railway and highway dual-use bridge in the world; The Akashi Kaikyo Bridge is the longest cross sea bridge in the world.
