Description

Plot Summary

Renowned British physicist Stephen Hawking recently issued a warning that extraterrestrial life may actually exist, but human contact with them could have devastating consequences. In the recently released documentary "Understanding the Universe with Hawking" on the "Exploration" channel, Hawking pointed out that after consuming all the resources on their own planet, extraterrestrial beings would take large spacecraft to planets they could reach to plunder resources and develop them into their colonies; If extraterrestrial beings visit Earth, it would be like the Italian navigator Columbus' landing on the American continent, ultimately bringing devastating disasters to humanity. 68 year old Hawking discusses his latest thoughts on the issue of extraterrestrial life in the universe in the film. He believes that extraterrestrial life almost certainly exists in many other parts of the universe - not only on planets, but may even exist in the centers of stars, or even in the vast universe floating between planets. Hawking believes that the theoretical basis for the existence of aliens is exceptionally 'simple'. He pointed out that there are 100 billion galaxies in the universe, each containing billions of stars. In such a vast space, it is unlikely that Earth is the only planet that has evolved life. I think that purely out of mathematical thinking, such a huge number alone is enough to make the idea of 'alien existence' completely reasonable. The real challenge is to discover what aliens really look like. "The documentary" Understanding the Universe with Hawking "took more than three years to produce, during which Hawking repeatedly insisted on making significant revisions to the script. John Smithson, the executive producer of Discovery, said, "He hopes to create a program that can entertain both the public and the scientific community. Considering its complexity, this is a difficult job
