Plot Summary

In 2040, the Earth's ecological environment will be severely damaged. In search of a new livable home, groups of fearless pioneers embark on interstellar spacecraft to explore other galaxies. On a planet called "Carpathia", pioneers built the colonial city of "Forthaven" and established the "New Human Society" led by President Tate (played by Liam Cunningham) and aides Stella (played by Hermione Norris), Cass (played by Daniel Mays), and Fleur (played by Amy Manson). They hope to continue human civilization in a democratic way, but things are clearly not that simple. Shortly after President Tate's family arrived in Carpathia, an accident occurred, and he himself was hiding a secret. Stella is an excellent scientist and one of the first pioneers to arrive in Carpathia. Her husband and daughter stayed on Earth, hoping for her return soon. Gass is the security officer and protector of Carpathia, and Fleur is his partner. At the beginning of this drama, Harbor Castle had already lost all contact with its home planet Earth. However, a mysterious Earth transport ship piloted by Julius Berger (played by Eric Mabius) suddenly appeared within the communication range of Harbor Castle, reigniting the pioneers' hope for Earth. As the transport ship approached, President Tate began to become restless and uneasy. And whether the spaceship carrying Stella's husband and daughter can land safely has become an unknown number. At the same time, an exploration team including captain Mitchell (played by Jamie Bamber) and team member Jack (played by Ashley Walters) is carrying out an exploration mission on the surface of the planet Carpathia. They need to collect as much environmental information as possible for the Harbor Fortress. What will they discover? Is there any other 'master' on this planet? Pioneers are composed of a diverse group of people, but they all have one thing in common - they have moved away from their hometowns, friends, and loved ones, forgotten the past, and gained new life. They work hard and are full of ideals for the future, hoping to build Carpathia into a new beautiful home. However, they can escape all the mistakes they make on Earth, but they cannot escape the innate desires of humanity. They soon discovered that Carpathia was not an ordinary planet.
