Plot Summary

Jane Eyre (played by Mia Wasikowska), who lost her parents since childhood, lived with her aunt. She was bullied by her cousin (played by Craig Roberts) and looked down upon by her aunt (played by Sally Hawkins) from a young age. As she grew older, she was sent to a strict church girls' school. Jane Eyre, who grew up in a cold and rigid environment, did not become a psychologically distorted girl. Instead, she became independent and self reliant, and accumulated extraordinary knowledge and cultivation. As an adult, she became a governess at the Thornfield Noble Estate. When the male protagonist Mr. Rochester (played by Michael Fassbender) first appeared, he met Jane Eyre in a horse fall accident. As the two gradually became acquainted, Mr. Rochester realized Jane Eyre's uniqueness and gradually fell in love with her. Jane Eyre was also strongly attracted to Mr. Rochester, but strange things always happened at night in the mansion, and their love seemed to be shrouded in a shadow... This film is adapted from the original work of Charlotte Bronte by a British author, and is the 18th time this masterpiece has been brought to the big screen.
