Description
Plot Summary
In a magnificent villa located in the outskirts, middle-aged plastic surgeon Robert Redgar (played by Antonio Banderas) and loyal servant Marilia (played by Marisa Paredes) reside here. In the past twelve years, he has lost his wife Gail and daughter Norma (played by Ana Mena), and one human tragedy after another has completely overturned Robert's seemingly perfect life, while also pushing his career and research into completely unknown fields. In a mysterious room of the villa, there resides a beautiful and isolated woman named Vila (played by Elena Anaya), who is both Robert's patient and his experimental subject. The two have a complex and chaotic relationship. Her face, carefully crafted by Robert's hand, tightly intertwines with each other... This film won the Washington D.C. Award in 2011
