Description
Plot Summary
In April 1988, on the island of Uvea in New Caledonia (French). 30 police officers were taken hostage by a Kanak organization demanding independence. France dispatched 300 soldiers to restore order. Two men face each other: Philippe Le Gouchou, the captain of the French National Gendarmerie Special Forces, and Alphonse Dianu, the hostage taking leader. Through their shared values, they attempt to solve problems through dialogue. But at the time of the presidential election, when the key challenges were political, order was not always governed by morality
